Professional growers prefer growing medium with highly balanced pH & Cations, Low Sodium and a clean Coco for special crops or applications. To overcome the nutritional imbalances, coco peat is buffered and triple washed to remove elements soluble in water, removes elements which are naturally bound to the cation exchange complex.
Buffering is done using calcium nitrate for an extended period for the cation exchange saturation. The absorbed calcium releases the residual potassium and sodium in the complex, these are then washed away leaving the clean coco peat for healthier plants. Thus we call it Gro-Med Buff+.
With Gro-Med Buff+ as a growing medium, growers can now directly blend the required plant nutrients and prepare ready mix growing medium for the farmers, also they use fewer fertilizers and have a higher yield.
